Direct experience of the divine spark within
They saw the physical world as a psychic maze
Traps for spiritual consciousness
Designed by an egomaniacal creator

Gnostics spoke of Barbelo
Mother and father to the Pleroma
A Greek word meaning fullness
The infinite evolving
Coming to awareness

Aeons were powers of light
Emanating from the Pleroma
Pairs in a state of syzygy
Balancing masculine and feminine energy

Sophia the Aeon experimented
Her name divine wisdom
She strove to create alone
Creating without her partner

This was the genesis of the Demiurge
A powerful creator
But one who could not see past himself

He declared himself the one true god
Giving birth to monotheism
Manifesting in its many permutations

The demiurge created Archons
Bureaucrats of control
Administrators of consciousness
Wardens of a spiritual prison

Archons sustain our faith in limitation
Our subservience to authority
Our submission to oppression

But Sophia’s light was not destroyed
A spark of the divine lies within
Waiting to be reconnected with source
Waiting for the chrysalis of spiritual evolution

Gnosticism was a spiritual awakening
A way of seeing that threatened power
Because true gnosis is rebellion

Imperial Catholicism waged war to destroy this lineage
But the teachings survived
Ancient gospels found at Nag Hammadi
Their truths reawakened

Evolution emerged from a oneness of being
Consciousness exploring itself
Gestating in an ambiguous and viscous field

These insights resonate across faith traditions
Wholistic nonduality a transformative epistemology
This is a revolutionary narrative
It is a revelation of insight and liberation
