I came to these rivers to write
My mind a psychic inferno
I craved the serenity of water
Seeking to synthesize intense intuition
Experiencing thoughts without rumination
Alchemy in the wisdom of water
In this pulsating moment
I channel manic energy
I am touched by fire
But I hold psychosis at bay
I want to dismantle my diagnosis
Conventional analysis offers trenchant tools
We have a panopticon of perspectives on the psyche
And for me medication is an imperative
But the dominant paradigm in mental health is pathology
And the paradigm is toxic
Without a doubt
Untreated severe mental illness
Devastating beyond measure
Yet there is so much more to these conditions
So much more than extremes of unmanageability
Our neurodivergent tribe has gifts and insights to share
We imagine tools to deploy
Hyperpop modern art to co-create
Our diagnosis implodes
We emerge as evolving spirits
Carefully navigating the manic depressive spectrum
I look to the water for confirmation
The fire of light ricochets
Manic fire controlled by fluidity
This is a moment of epic existential crisis
Our tools are rooted in community
Our potent arsenal is spiritual
We manifest the power of creativoty
Conjuring ritual and connection
Alchemy and prophecy reshaping destiny
If we have hope of survival
We need the amplification of neurodiversity
Collectively guiding the course of evolution
This is collective spiritual liberation
We need transcendent vision
We need sacred quantum tools
